1. What is the process for pursuing a franchise opportunity with Tony Roni’s?
The first step is to complete the personal profile & financial application.  This does not obligate you to Tony Roni’s.  The form is simply used to determine if we will be a good match moving forward.  After receipt and review, we will contact you and arrange a personal meeting at Tony Roni’s Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.  If we both agree to proceed, we will provide you with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for review.  This document contains all information required by the Federal Trade Commission and the specific state your Tony Roni’s will be located.   The FDD will enable you to perform a comprehensive evaluation of our franchise system. In order to begin the training process, a Development Agreement must be signed and the franchise fee paid. The Development Agreement will define a protected area, number of stores, and opening schedule.

2. Who do we want as partners in our franchise family?
Tony Roni’s is actively seeking qualified individuals to become franchisees. Passion, commitment and a positive attitude, coupled with personal financial qualifications, and a track record of success are important factors in our evaluation process. 3.  Who are the people behind your company?
Tony Roni’s franchise company is comprised of professionals with vast experience in the restaurant industry.  Our support and training team members are well educated and posses many years of practical operating experience, great communication skills, and phenomenal attitudes.  In summary you will be part of a dynamic business culture.

4.  Do I need pizza industry experience?
Restaurant experience is helpful; however, it is not a requirement.  Our proven production processes, operating systems, and management training team will prepare you to manage and operate your store.

5. What is the initial the franchise fee?
Currently the franchisee fee for a single unit is $25,000.  Fees are reduced for additional franchises.

6.  What is the investment required to open a Tony Roni’s?
The average investment for a Tony Roni’s franchise is estimated to range from $323,000 to $390,000, we will illustrate start up costs based on projections and actual expenditures.  Expenses may vary depending on geographic considerations.

7.  Does Tony Roni’s provide Financing?
Tony Roni’s does not provide financing.  However, we will recommend third party lending sources, which provide financing options for equipment leasing, construction and SBA loans for qualified candidates.

8.  Do I have territory rights and protection?
Yes, we grant territories on the basis of geographic and population considerations.  For example, we will approve locations in an urban, down town (center city) within closer proximity than a typical suburban neighborhood strip center.  Our commitment is not to over saturate the market.  Multi-unit development agreements will grant larger territory exclusions for expansion.

9. Where are the Tony Roni’s stores (location, location, location)?
The ideal scene for a Tony Roni’s is in a highly visible, heavily trafficked in-line retail or stand alone building.  We look for areas that deliver a promising corporate/industrial presence along with a densely populated residential neighborhood.

10. Does Tony Roni’s deliver?
Absolutely, all of our stores offer delivery service.  Additionally we offer quick, casual dine-in and take out services.

11. How do I get started building my store?
Tony Roni’s will guide you every step of the way.  We have professionals that specialize in restaurant and chain store development.  We begin the design and guide you through to completion and opening.

12. How long does it take to open the store?
Each location is different, depending on a variety of factors, including site selection, build-out requirements and local permit approval. It typically takes approximately 6-8 months to opening day at your local Tony Roni’s.  However, actual time required may vary based on local construction requirements

13. How much money will I make?
The amount of money made in a Tony Roni’s franchise, as in any business, is the direct result of the effort and abilities of your management team.  We do not provide actual or projected earnings.  We will provide all possible information of estimates relating to typical start up costs.

14. What kind of training can I expect as a franchisee?
All new franchisees participate in a 6 week comprehensive training program at our corporate training center and franchise training store located in Philadelphia, PA. You will receive both classroom instruction and hands-on in store training in all key areas of the business.
